Emma Kareliussen, Creative Director
Emma is Swedish and has lived in Barcelona for the past 12 years and has more than 20 years experience in her field. She has worked all over the world, from Stockholm to London and Dubai, and is the the owner of the Wit Salon & Barber in the Raval. Emma is constantly on the look out for new professional challenges and she regularly collaborates at the New York and Madrid Fashion Weeks. She initiated the hairdressing stand at the Lost and Found and Fleamarket markets and this year she partnered up with RayBan sunglasses to cut hair at the Primavera Sound Music Festival.
Ricardo Graça, Trainer
Ricardo is Portuguese and has been working as a hairdresser, teacher and makeup artist for over 10 years. Ricardo has experience working at a number of academies in Barcelona and has also worked on fashion shoots, television and theatre.
Elisa Palloni, Trainer
Elisa is Italian and has been working as a hairdresser, teacher and makeup artist for over 25 years. Elisa has taught at various academies in Italy and has worked in salons around the world. Elisa also regularly works on fashion and film shoots, in television and theatre.
Carina Egebakken, Trainer
Carina started her career in Oslo where she worked for many years in exclusive salons. Carina has worked in Barcelona for the past 8 years and she started out in salons but now she mainly focusses on makeup and hair for events and weddings.
Carina loves working with all elements of hairdressing and makeup – the whole package!
Egor Lushov, Assistant Trainer
Egor is originally from Kaliningrad, Russia. He graduated from the Baltic Federal University with a degree in Public Relations and after deciding to leave grey rainy Kaliningrad and move to Barcelona, he began studying hairdressing at Barcelona Hair Academy and hasn’t looked back since.
Cecily Doyle, Administrative Director
Cecily is British and has lived and worked in Barcelona since 2000. She has a degree in English Literature and Spanish from the University of Leeds UK and over 16 years of experience in Administration and Management. She speaks English, Spanish and Catalan.
